Just for the record...

My brother called me "gay" today.

My granny called me "queer" today too.

My brother called me "gay android" today when I came back from my granny's house because I was wearing an Android t-shirt with a pink bow on top of its head.

And I remembered this:

It's right at the end. But, yeah. You may watch it all if you'd like XD It's hilarious XD

Was today the National Let's-All-Talk-About-Rincon's-sexual-inclination Day and I wasn't aware of that? XDDDD

On a side note...

I've already learned all my lines~ :BBB XD

Two sides of the same coin...

I woke up today feeling slightly satisfied. I finally managed to write something, after a long, long long fruitless vacational period. Fruitless because... I didn't write much this summer. And all I tried to write was plain and, frankly, boring.

The thing I wrote yesterday was something I've been planning to do for about a year. I found enough inspiration to write about it on Saturday and I managed to complete it last night. I was happy with it. It's a stupid piece, but I enjoyed writing it very much and I finally could get rid of all those writing canons school's been pushing into Tú's bedroom.

And then, my dad came.

He went out his room and came to the kitchen, were I was fetching myself something to eat before  taking a shower and going to SS. Then, he asked me: "You're...you're pretty good at correcting texts, aren't you?"

I shrugged and nodded, absentmindedly.

"I guess... I dunno. I do enjoy it very much, tho."

He went on:

"Yeah. You've got a thing for it. May I read something to you? Some stuff I've been writing about... You know I'm not much of a literate, but..."

"Sure. Why not?" I've been correcting my father's texts for some time now. So, he brought his PC to the dinning room and, as I ate my cookies and drank my milk, he read to me.

After that, he said: "I've a question for you. I hope you can answer it to me. I don't want to bother you, I've just been wondering..."

"Why did you stop writing?"

His question didn't make me frown. He asked me that before, on summer vacations. And I answered the same way I did back then:

"As I told you before...I don't find any inspiration anymore. I don't have good ideas... I just finished writing a short tale last night and I was really happy about it... But that's been it. I don't think I have good ideas", I repeated.

"Just that?" He insisted. I nodded. "Well, if it's just that, then you should probably try a little harder..."

And he started giving me tips and advice about what to do to keep writing. He even told me I could write about gay relationships (If only he knew...)! XD But he clearly stated that I couldn't stop doing it.

The way we talked and all made me feel deeply touched and happy. When I was eleven and I told him I wanted to be a writer, he told me it wasn't an easy path to follow, that I had to be really good at it if I really wanted to be noticed and that I shouldn't have my hopes too high for that. I cried a couple of times because those words really hurt me. They were my dad's, of course they did so. That's also why I didn't want to study Literature in the first place (I CRAVED to be in that school), because I had been told that wouldn't pay the bills and all that.

And he was right, somehow. I chose Communication, Journalism, and I'm quite pleased with it. I look back and I see what people do at Literature...and I must say I pass >3> And, still, I'm learning how to write.

Most of the time, he tends to laugh at whatever I wanna do and tries to discourage me. And when I say he tries, I mean he REALLY TRIES. HARD. Because he doesn't like what I like. And, in the end, he's always there, coaching me, rooting for me. Even if he doesn't agree, even if he doesn't like what I want for myself, even if he thinks it is stupid, a waste of time, a childish caprice or something that will just get me distracted and away from the goal (which I still dunno what is XD), he ends up backing me up, no matter what. It happened with English, writing, proofreading, and Japanese. Now, he supports me with all those.

That's why that conversation was touching for me and it made me indescribably happy. After that, he waited for me to get ready and we walked together to the avenue's bus stop. He had his bike with him and he let me ride it as he held my backpack (which, he said, was really heavy XD) for me. We went on, walking and chatting. It was nice. I felt I came back some years in the past, when he took me to the park and helped me learn how to roller skate, even if he didn't quite know how to do it himself.

It's pretty much the same with writing really. But he isn't that bad at it and he's got good ideas.

When I came back home, I told mum about it. And she said dad was also happy about our little conversation. I almost cried of mere happiness at that.

Also, last Wednesday, as I left for SS, I saw him as he came back home after going to the supermarket. He was inside the car. I didn't know it was him until I stopped, because I saw the car doing so beside me. He stared at me and smiled. It was some sort of incredulous look, but not negatively. It was a mixture of happiness, pride and misbelief. As though he couldn't believe the person walking in that street was his oldest daughter, going on her own, such a grown-up and so...pretty, as he told me afterwards when I asked him about that smile.

I know he says so because he's my dad... But the fact that he thinks so means a lot to me. He's always  complaining about how clumsy and overly-sentimental I am. He's starting to realise I'm a lot more than that... I guess ^^;

Just wanted to say this because it did leave an impression in me u.u

On a side note...

I just showed my younger bro two SID songs: Yuuwaku Collection and Ghost Apartment. He said: "Damn. Japanese and chinese people are way too advanced in music too... These are such mofos! Ö" Which means...he liked them XDDD

When I told them I got the romaji lyrics for Ghost Apartment, he was like "D: I dunno how you can do that D: I can't even understand English lyrics D:"

In case you wondered about my SID tracklist for tonight XD

Today's a special day :)

Today, about 19 years ago (if I am not mistaken) someone really special was born. I met her because I was surfing around FF.net and she ended up being the main reason why I opened this thingy XD

I'm glad I met her because I started feeling a lot more self-conscious about my work after I read hers and that made me want to get a lot better...and also because she was nice with me, even though I acted so much like a mad fangirl of hers when we started PMing at FF XDD

Anyways, I'm thankful for that and I want to give her a birthday present (since I hadn't done that in years >3>). I don't think this will be as amazing as her fics related to this pairing...and it might as well be lame...but bear with me, sweet. I don't get them as you do XD

Trust
Cherik. Drabble. I do not own :)

Erik presented him with a suspicious look. Charles smiled, amused, fixing a long, white index finger on his temple.

“Oh, please Erik. Close your eyes. It’s going to be alright, I promise.” Erik shook his head unconsciously.

“You’re letting me fall…”

“So now you’re the telepath?” he answered, mocking surprise. Then, he laughed softly and insisted: “Come on. Close your eyes…”

“This is stupid…”, but Erik finally did as he was told, fighting back a smile as he listened to his voice. Charles walked behind him and stood right there.

“Yes, but you’re still doing it, love. And no…” he immediately said, answering to Erik’s thoughts “…I’m not playing mind tricks on you. You’re acting on your own free will…”

“I was afraid you’d say that…” Erik let out. He sighed. Of course he knew, but one could never be quite sure when it was Charles Xavier you were talking to.

“Ready?” he heard Charles voice asking.

“Not really…” it was Charles’s turn to sigh. He understood how hard it was for Erik to trust anyone. But they were friends, weren’t they? This was only an exercise for him to learn to do it…at least when it came to him.

“You need to let yourself go, Erik. Otherwise, you will never be able to reach your full potential… And that’s exactly what we want, don’t we?” he certainly knew how to push his buttons. Erik knew that well. He used to hate that kind of approach but, somehow, whenever Charles did so, it didn’t feel that wrong.

He felt comfy with anything related to him.

“OK, then” said Erik, since he was getting a bit tired of all this and also because he hated hesitating people way too much to become one of them for something as silly as this: “You ready?”

“Yes.” Charles’s smile widened again and prepared himself. “On the count of three: three, two, one…”

Erik tried to empty his mind and let himself go freely. It wasn’t easy, but, after twenty seconds or more, he managed to do so. And no hands kept him from falling…

It was Charles’s mind that took care of him. He couldn’t help but laugh at that odd feeling. There were no arms, no person, yet he was there, floating, safe and sound. Charles didn’t let Erik down and he couldn’t believe it.

He was about to open his eyes to search for the blue orbs that belonged to his comrade when he felt a light pressure on his lips...

At that moment, he was absolutely sure he would've never let him down.

Well, yeah. You know how that ends *divoooorce*

I just had to... XD

Lots of things've happened around me lately. For instance, I've returned to school and classes've been just fine :) I've been seeing that special person on Tuesdays and Fridays and he's been giving his classes way too near me >///> ARGH!

Then, I've been watching xmfc every weekend almost religiously and all. I've also started paying my social service in my school's Film Library. It's right in front of my school, which is quite convenient~ :D And it's quite awesome working there, although I returned home quite early today because my boss was sick and I've done all the work I had to on Wednesday :) (Such an efficient worker I am when I need to be so XD)

A pic of my office. Friends can come and visit me as long as my boss ain't around XD

We also went to celebrate one of my uncles' birthday last weekend and it was quite fun. We ate lots of food, walked and fooled around a little bit, we ate candy (traditional candy XD) and we also saw lots and lots of cute little animals. We played passes with a football...ball XDDD Here some cute pics XDD

Place and animals XD

Jamoncillo de pepitas de calabaza XD (It's made of pumpkin seeds~)

A milk candy~ :D

It was a quite nice and peaceful day~ :D

Aaand...I think that's all about that. Today one of my best friends gave me a Placebo DVD~ :) I was happy~ And, since I didn't have work to do at the Film Library, I went to a CD shop to buy a movie...and I ended up buying about...4 D: Kuro, you're such a bad influence! D: XDDD Most of them were or James's or Fassy's >> I might post a pic of those as soon as I take it but what I wanted to show you was what I saw at the shop XD

I was walking, looking for those movies I wanted when, suddenly, I saw this:

In case you can't see it, I'm gonna put it this way: I was innocently looking for those films I wanted. Then, I turned around and saw the X-Men tetralogy. I took it from that shelf and, when I turned around, I saw there was a Gay Films section right beside it... Coincidence? ô_o XDDDD

It was such a hilarious thing I had to take a pic of it. And here it is. I'm sorry if it is terribly focused, but I was in a hurry in case it wasn't allowed to take pics in there u.u XD

There you go, Kuro XDDD

Now it is all~ :3

Only love...

Title: La otra familia [The other family] (Mexico, 2011)

Summary: Jean Paul and José María -Chema- are a newly-wed, gay couple. Hendrix is a 7 year-old boy whose mom's addicted to crack. Ivana, a lesbian mutual friend, takes Hendrix to Jean Paul and Chema so they can take care of him while his mother's in rehabilitation. They get attached to him and plan to keep him... But his mother's boyfriend has other plans for the boy.

When Aio first watched this film (she tends to go to the cinema a lot more often than I do...and I should be ashamed orz), she told me: "You HAVE to watch it. It almost, almost made me cry". Fact is...it's hard to make her cry XD

So, she bought it as soon as she saw it in stores and lent it to me. I watched it today. And I was quite pleased.

It's like...4 stories in one. And all found each other through Hendrix, the little boy. But they mostly talk about how difficult it is for a gay couple to adopt a kid without being subject of prejudice and all that, from society. And how children can have a "normal family" or a disfunctional one not mattering whether they live with a mother and a father, only a mother, only a father, or two fathers or two mothers.

Jean Paul (Jorge Salinas) and Chema (Luis Roberto Guzmán) are way too cuuuuute when they're together~ :3 They absolutely do look and act like a gay couple. I mean, they don't look exaggerated or too heterosexual. They're just right~ :3 And there are some bed scenes. Nothing too  flashy, because this is a sweet movie! D: But it was nicely treated and had nothing morbid in it, which I applaud because most people think gay movies are only about that u.ú

Jean Paul, Hendrix and Chema

And although Chema's horrible with Hendrix (Bruno Loza) at first, when he starts liking him, he's a supercute daddy~ °((>w<))° And he gets way too clingy with his new baby and redecorates his bedroom and takes him to school and loves him so very much T^T He was such a lovely mommy~ °((>w<))°

Also, this is a drama film... So...it started a bit slow. But I think it was because they were introducing most of the main stories there by inserting alternate scenes of each of them. And then, the last hour, is quite tense...because you really don't know what's going to happen to the poor little boy (although one suspects it, of course XD) because everything's just so complicated and sad and unfair and all that ;^;

I didn't cry, but it did make me think a lot. And I guess that was the main goal of the film. So, I suppose it was nicely done :3 I also liked the way they dealt with such a delicate subject, mostly in a society where sexism is something you live with everyday. And mexican society is one of those... >>

People say Mexico produces low quality films (pity, because mexican movies used to be quite nice in last century's 50s u.u) but this one's fairly nice. Maybe because it was produced by the 20th Century Fox and all. It had a bit more budget than other independent films.

I'm not sure (and I don't think) this film was released in USA or Canada. Obviously, I seriously doubt it was released in Europe too XD So, I dunno if you'll have any chance to watch it. Since it was produced by 20th Century Fox, I hope it can be found out there in DVD format or something. If you find it, watch it. It's a good film u.u :)

PS: As I wrote this (about four or five hours ago), my grandpa finally passed away. I'd like to dedicate this entry to him. He used to have a gay friend he loved lots :3

I just wrote...ARGH!!

Well, I've been writing lots of BL lately... Since...November 2010. All in my mother language, tho. Haha... >>

I shouldn't be doing that. I'm supposed to be a good girl, ain't I? D: But I'm writing for a friend's sake u.u And also because I love her gay characters u3u XD Does that make me a bad child? D: I shouldn't be writing threesomes either >>

Yeah, that's right...threesomes. Vampiric threesomes...but there was a girl in the middle... So, it made it kinda harder.

Although! It wasn't a lemon...nor a lime. What was it then? D:

It was only how a pair of gay vampires (yeah, these are gay XD) did a girl to suck out all her blood and then killed her u.u

ARGH!! IT WAS SO DAMN DIFFICULT!! TOT And this friend, the creator of said characters is reading that fic right now. Am so nervous, so nervous, SOOOOO NERVOUS!!! >O<

Another friend of mine read it and said she liked it much... Bububububububububut...she always likes whatever I write. But this is an important part of them...how did I even dare to touch that? >>

And she's making me suffer so much because I am SO DAMN SURE she's already done reading it!! >''< *rolls all over the place*

AAAAAH!! SHE'S DONEEEE!!!

And she said...she loved it...she's fascinated with it! >> And that it could be one of her faves... *goes and throws herself off a cliff*

I...can't...even... I don't... I mean, I did like it lots, but... I am... I'm shaking... I can't believe she did like it. She says she shuddered at their attitude and all that...

Myohmy >>

I'M STILL SHAKING, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!! >O>

....

OK, I think I'm better now u.u But I still can't... ;___; Maybe I should let Tú help me write more often... u.u But it's so hard to let go of my...filters >> T^T Tú, you're amazing T_T

I think I'm leaving now. I'm going to China Town tomorrow to check out New Year's celebration ;D Wish me luck!! >w<9

Oh, btw, that pic up there was drawn by a friend of my friend... And those are my friend's characters :3 I love 'em so much~ °((>w<))° Check out my friend and her friend's galleries at dA, if you have time :D

Here's my friend :3

And here's my friend's friend :3

See ya~ :DDD
